where I am at and what is going on

As most of you know I have moved back to Texas to finish Rosie adoption. I have been having a hard time with Imaginations over income. First it was not the correct amount then it was because it was donation based. After alot of prayer and talking with Lifeline and friends I decided that the best thing to do was to move back so I can bring Rosie home. While I am working very hard on getting this all done I do need help. I will be posting some fund raiser here in the next few day so keep an eye out.

Ok update. My homestudy update is almost done which is huge. This means I can now re-do my I800a (immigration for the US). But for me to do this I need to come up with $800 in the next few days. I know this is possible through God. All the fees have always come just in time. And it is time for Him to show up big again. I pray that he will work through you, my friends, to help bring Rosie home once and for all.

Rosie has grown so much this month. She is learning to use her teeth to eat more than ever before. This is huge and well open up many doors for trying new foods. She also has gotten better at her coloring and has started to pick out the colors she wants to use. As the weather has been getting nicer outside we have been spending a lot of time on the playground. Rosie's favorite things to do right now are bouncing on the trampoline and enjoying the swings. Even though she is not quite brave enough to do the swings by herself she loves to sit on my lap and swing or to swing in the baby swing. As always, Rosie is such a blessing and joy to have around.

Epilepsy Day

As most of you know Rosie has epilepsy and Wednesday March 26th is epilepsy day. Can I get you to do two thing for Rosie of Wednesday. One can you all wear purple. I know I will be. Two would you give $10 for her to come home. Every dollar makes a difference in a live of a child. 

A New Hope... and a New Need

You've probably been wondering what's going on with my adoption... it's a long story.

Ok, so here is the deal... I have been stuck in immigration for my I800a. For those who do not know what this is, it is the US government giving me permission to adopt. I have submitted twice already, and have been denied both time due to my income rate.

With me living in China, I do not need as much money to live as I would in the statues, but immigration is unwilling to make an exception for this. This has been extremely discouraging and frustrating, but God being God has made an exception! In the beginning of February I asked my social worker how much more I needed to have to be able to re-submit and be accepted. She gave me an amount, I and realized that my January income (including some one-time gifts) was over the number that she gave me! After realizing we had messed my one time gift, we recalculated my income to included my this amount, it turned out that I had $1,000 more than I needed for the yearly income! Now I can submit... well, almost...

While there is hope, I still need to get some important documents updated, including a new medical, criminal history, and update of my homestudy and of course the new 1800a. This means that I need an additional $2,000 to get the documents prepared... and all of this needs to be done right now. As soon as possible.
